This past weekend we had our first adventure at Silver Dollar City...and boy, was it ever fun! We loaded up early and drove to Branson with the Burrow family, because, after all, everything is better with a friend at Cole's age. None of us had been there before and we had no idea what to expect. I think we were all very pleasantly surprised at how nice it was and how much there was to do...even for the boys. Cole was very nervous about the rides but that sweet boy managed to find enough courage to ride his first one (the swings) and after that he was hooked. He started off the day by closing his eyes and clutching the safety bar but he ended the day with eyes wide open and his arms in the air. Rhonald and I were so proud of him for facing his fear and overcoming it!!!! Ben and Cole ran around like they owned the place and tried a little bit of everything. And there literally was a little bit of everything. Even Noel and Lily Kate found some fun activities to do but mostly I think they LOVED watching their 2 big brothers run around. Before we even made it out of the parking lot Cole asked when we could go back. I love that the kids are at an age where we can go do fun things like this together and having friends along made it even better. It was an absolute exhausting but wonderful day!!!!
