Saying Goodbye

This past Saturday we hosted a small cookout with some of our closest friends in order to say goodbye to the Vo family.  Ugh - we hate that they are moving but we are so happy that they are following their dreams.  Haley was a year behind Rhonald in medical school and we have been friends ever since...our kids are such good friends as well.  We have been through a lot in these past several years and love them like crazy.  While it was so much fun to get everyone together it was very hard to give those final hugs and not know when we will see one another again.  We will miss them and we wish them all the best this world can offer!!!

The kids' school put on such a wonderful end of the year/preschool graduation program this year.  Each class sang two songs and then the 4 year old preschool class got to have a little graduation ceremony.  It was so sweet, sad and exciting all at the same time.  Lily was very shy and did not sing much but participated in her class songs as long as she was sitting with her big buddy, Khaliel.  The two of them became fast friends and were basically together at all times during school.  Cole loved all of the kids in his class this year, many of them have been together since they were babies.  His best buddies were Apollos and Noah.  He has talked about seeing those 2 boys every day since school got out.  Both kids had amazing and loving teachers this year.  We could not have been happier with all they learned and were able to experience at school.  I am so excited for Cole to move on to Kindergarten but I am a little sad that he won't be at Sonshine School with Lily next year.  We feel so blessed to have found this wonderful program for our family.

Crystal Bridges

Rhonald's parents were able to come visit for a couple of days last week to watch Cole play T ball and see him graduate from preschool.  We decided that since the weather was perfect we would take them for crepes and to Crystal Bridges...one of our all time favorite places.  We had so much fun hiking and exploring the trails with them!
