Literally almost a month ago my parents came to visit to watch the kids while Rhonald and I escaped for an anniversary weekend. It happened to fall on my mom's birthday so before we left we had a night of birthday fun! Cole wanted to take my mom out to dinner at Marketplace. I am not sure why but he was fixated on that particular place. When we were there my mom thanked us for taking her and Cole said, "You should thank me. It was my idea." Oh boy! After dinner we came home for cake and ice cream and then off we went! It was so nice to have a whole weekend to spend focused on each other and resting. Having a second baby really has made life busy and while we love that we also love a little down time. We had never left Lily before so I had mixed feelings about that but it turned out great. Everyone had a great time and actually, I think Cole was a little sad to see Rhonald and I return. And the best part was that my parents offered to do it again!!!!
