I feel like this has been the longest winter ever. Seriously. It warms up one day and then the next day is freezing cold and raining. ugh! In this house we are VERY ready for Spring. A few weeks back we had a very, very nice day and decided to stay up a little late and take advantage of the weather. Cole got a new bike this year for his birthday and Lily is finally able to ride our tricycle so we opted for a neighborhood bike ride. It was so much fun - even if we did just ride up and down our street over and over. I couldn't help but laugh at our kids....they really showed their personalities that night. Lily was scooting and ringing the bell on her trike while shouting, "Wait for me Bubba! I comin'! I comin'!" While Cole payed very close attention to what he was doing, kept asking me if it was really ok to ride on the road (we live in the country) and would shout back to Lily Kate, "Lily, you have to pay attention to what you are doing! This is serious!" I loved it - and so did all of our neighbors who were listening to us. We have been on our bikes every single nice day we have had and we have loved it....I just wish those warm weather days would come and stay for awhile.
