We just had our second snow storm of the winter...and, for us, it was a big one! It was beautiful to watch and fun to play in and now I am ready for it to melt away and for things to get back to normal around here! Cole woke up around 7 am to a beautiful winter wonderland and instantly wanted to go outside to play. I told him we needed to have breakfast (he then told me he was not hungry) and wait for it to get a little warmer. Well, needless to say, I lost that battle and by 8 am we were all outside enjoying the snow. We threw snow balls, played with trucks, chased Mason and had a wonderful time making memories! It was so bitter cold though that we did not stay out very long. Cole was so upset to go inside but his cheeks were bright red and cold and his mittens were soaked so we bribed him with a big breakfast and he quickly agreed. I think that little guy would love to live up north and be able to play in the snow as often as he wanted...he loves it! I love being able to share these memories with him since winter/snow was such a big part of my childhood. I never thought I would be able to teach him about snowmen or snow ice cream but we have had a lot of snow already this year. And while I am thankful for the fun...I am also ready for Spring!!!!
