Friday afternoon Rhonald and I had already run out of fun things to do indoors...or at least we thought we had. We were teaching Cole how to play hide and seek and I chose to hide in our bathtub. Cole comes in our bathroom all of the time but he never takes a bath there. He found me and jumped right in with me and loved sitting in there. I told him that he could take his bath there before bedtime and he was so exciting. After thinking about it a little bit I realized Cole had never taken a bubble bath before so I also told him he could have bubbles in his bath. He was so excited and kept talking about it....nonstop. So much so that I went ahead and let him take his bubble bath that afternoon. Wow!!! He LOVED it! He thought the bubbles were so neat. Cole received a pack of bathtub crayons for his birthday so we let him use those in the tub as well. I swear he was in there for 1 1/2 hours...until we made him get out. And we had to bribe him with snow ice cream to get him out. It was so cute to watch him splashing in the bubbles and having such a blast! I think I am going to save that "activity" for the next rainy (or snowy) day.
