Home Grown Goodness
If there is one thing that we have discovered a love for it is picking our own fruit. Holy cow, is that ever fun! Today was the last day for pick your own peaches at our local peach farm and we were dying to go. It turned out that my parents are here for a visit and they also love picking...so we loaded up early and headed out to the orchard. I have never seen so many peaches in all of my life! None of us had ever picked peaches before and did not know what to expect...we were shocked. And in awe. We got right to work...Cole being the best picker of our group. Lily Kate did her usual....she ate the entire time we were there. My word - she did not like the peels however and learned how to eat the peach and then spit the peel out. So funny! We picked so many peaches I have no clue what we will do with them! Even at bedtime Cole was talking about how much fun it was...I am so thankful we have discovered all of these neat farms and that they are all so close to our house! What a blessing to all of us!
